For most student pastors, it’s a tough shift from Summer programming to Fall programming.  Summer is filled with mission trips, fun outings, camps and high relational ministry.  Fall is filled with scheduled programming, parent meetings, Fall retreats, new students and families and letting your newly recruited leaders to start leading a small group.

With the shift of seasons, comes a shift in priorities.

It seems simple, but it’s easy to forget that clarity always wins.  Getting clear on what takes priority takes time and intentionality. As leaders of our student ministries, we have to shift and push back against the inevitable flow away from what matters.
